We can, but the cost does go up, as it takes more time to combine, plus we need the exact running times of each tape so we can allocate the correct amount of space on the DVD. Our most economical package is to transfer each tape to it's own DVD, preserving the quality.

Then you can edit and combine tapes at a later date.
