Turnaround times
All turnaround times quoted are NOT guaranteed. Every customer works to a different schedule with every job having a different degree of urgency of which got memories is unaware. We are therefore unable to accept any responsibility for delays of any kind that result in any item not arriving within your required deadline. We always do our best to work within the times quoted but it is your responsibility to ensure that you have allowed extra time for unforeseen delays. Pro8mm will not refund or credit for any delayed items, whether or not caused by our own fault.
Shipping & handling
Got Memories uses UPS (United Parcel Service), Fed Ex (Federal Express). USPS (United States Postal Service) shipments are at the request of the customer. USPS shipments are insured upon request of the customer, onlydelivery confirmation is included. UPS & Fed Ex carriers have a responsible claims department and convenient tracking capability We will not track, trace or take any responsibility for insurance or mislabelling of any parcel not sent out through got memories UPS, Fedex or USPS account. Items in transit with UPS & Fed Ex are automatically insured for a nominal value of $100. If any item is accepted by UPS, Fed Ex or USPS to have been lost, broken or stolen while in transit, this results in a payment being made from UPS to got memories of the $100 nominal insurance figure, this $100 will be credited to the customer against got memories products and services. Monetary settlements will not be entered into between got memories and the customer. Claims for compensation from the customer direct to UPS & Fed Ex will not be entertained by Fed Ex & UPS and will not be supported by got memories. As the shipper of outgoing items, got memories will deal direct with UPS & Fed Ex in all circumstances relating to the shipping of outgoing items.
Insurance
Got Memories does not provide any insurance of any kind beyond the replacement value of the raw material cost of your film, video-tapes or equipment. If your film, video tapes or equipment have a value beyond the material cost of replacement then it is your responsibility to obtain the relevant insurance cover from an outside vendor.
Damaged or lost film, video tapes, images and equipment
The purchase from us or delivery to us of any film, video tape, images or equipment for any purpose including processing, cleaning, transfer, shipping or any other reason constitutes an agreement by you that if any such film, video-tape or equipment is damaged or lost by us while in our possession it will be replaced with an equivalent amount of unexposed film, processing, video-tape or equipment. Except for such replacement, the handling of such film or video-tape by us is without warranty or liability even though damage or loss is caused by our negligence, our agents? negligence or other fault. We will assume no responsibility for the content value of your material. If you believe that your material has or will have at any time a value that exceeds the raw material cost then it is your responsibility to obtain the relevant insurance cover from an outside vendor.
Refunds
All sales are final.
Payment Terms
Payment can be accepted by cash, check (with proper verification), Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Paypal and American Express. Payment must be received before we release media.
Storage
All film, video-tapes and equipment sent to us will be stored free of charge for 30 days from the day of completion of Pro8mm?s processing, cleaning, video transfer or equipment repair work. If you have not arranged collection of your film, video-tapes or equipment within 60 days from the day of completion then we will assume that it has no further value to you and it will be disposed of. It is your responsibility to keep in touch with us and with your work.
Compatibility Guarantee
We guarantee all our products, including DVD, meet universal standards and specifications. Our DVD-R discs will play in over 95% of players in existence and most all players made in the past couple years. If a DVD we produce will not play on your DVD player we will sell you a DVD player at cost (under $50) or provide you with a VHS copy of your order at no additional cost to you. We use high quality name brand discs and print your titles directly on the DVD, no stickers are used.
Refunds & Retransfer
In extreme rare cases, mistakes may occur. We have never had an issue where another company's transfer surpassed our own. 30 Day Refund/Re-transfer Policy for Media Transfer If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, you may pursue a retransfer or refund. For a refund, will need a copy of a transfer showing a visable improvement in quality over a got memories transfer. We are confident that you will find our transfer to be superior and a refund unnecessary. Contact got memories within 30 days of your order's most recent ship date. We will e-mail you a refund or retransfer form. Our contact information is located within the form. Return all of the media that we produced for the order in the condition that you received it. Include the confirmation in the box with your media. In cases of re-transfer, it may be necessary to return the original media to us as well. Retransfers will be completed as promptly as possible and then returned to you. We strongly recommend using testing our services if you are unsure of our services. Please note that got memories will offer one retransfer per order. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or retransfer after 30 days.
